The Bruce Festival, Dunfermline 12-13 July 201

The Bruce Festival 2014 is based in Dunfermline which boasts a fascinating history. It's the ancient capital of Scotland, birthplace of Kings and Queens and the final resting place of King Robert the Bruce.
The Festival will take you on a journey through time with a range of medieval events and entertainment including dramatic re-enactments, street theatre and traditional storytelling. Music and drama, battles and highland games will combine to make a great day out.
Travel through its royal links, and other hidden gems such as the Wallace Well, from which William Wallace is said to have drank. Try your skills at archery or learn how bread was baked in medieval times, see jousting displays or treat yourself to some jewellery made as it would have been when Robert the Bruce was alive.
